Speak Up About YOUR Professional Development!

Does a coach need to actively choose his or her coachee? Does a mentor have to have 20 years' experience in the field?
What kind of time should a consultant spend with a center?
What defines a consultant/coach/mentor/trainer??
We need your help answering these questions.
Training, coaching, consulting and mentoring are a few of the methods of professional development that are commonly used in the early childhood field. Diverse definitions and competencies distinguish these approaches from one another and each is evolving around the nation, raising important questions for early childhood advocates, funders, and leaders.
We got a jump start on this discussion at the 2010 Opening Minds Conference and now we're asking for your input.
