Chicago Metro AEYC is excited to announce an expanded focus on Head Start and Early Head Start at the 2010 Opening Minds Conference!
 

Head Start Workshops

We have scheduled presentations specifically for Head Start programs on all three days of the conference. The workshops target Head Start program administration, family services, disabilities and parent involvement.

If your program recently received funding for Early Head Start, there is a full day workshop on Wednesday, January 27 (Preconference Day) on administering an effective Early Head Start program.

In addition to the above, there are workshops on curriculum, classroom management, language and literacy, ELL (English language learning), assessment, science, math and social-emotional development.

is looking for Head Start Teachers and Assistant Teachers
to participate in a one-hour Head Start Focus Group at Opening Minds.
